Who should consider PA / Sickness Insurance?
An insurance policy that pays out a lump sum in the event of death, loss of one or both limbs; total loss of sight of one or both eyes; loss of one limb and one eye; permanent total disablement.
The policy will also pay out in the event of temporary total disablement with a weekly benefit payment. The benefit is usually payable after one has been sick for more than 7 days; this may vary from one insurer to another.
The premiums are based on occupation and the level of cover/benefit required.
